Mexican photographer who began her studies in 1986 at Casa de las Imágenes in Mexico City. Her passion for photography led her to move to New York City, enrolling at Parsons School of Design in search of expanding her knowledge. She has devoted much of her career to the contemporary Mexican landscape, with a particular interest in environmental issues.

Lourdes has a special inclination for developing projects inspired by social and cultural themes. From a singular perspective, in an undefined space, her images question the boundaries between the real and the unreal. She seeks to transcend forms and invites the viewer to take something new into consciousness.
