She was born on July 21, 1991 in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León. In 2014 she graduated with honors with a bachelor‘s degree in arts from the Universidad de Monterrey. She completed a stay in 2012 at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, France. In 2013 she was selected to participate in the Contemporary Photography Program (PFC), an educational project of the Fototeca de Nuevo León. In 2015, 2017 and 2020 she exhibited individually at the Machete gallery in Mexico City. Her work has also been part of several collective exhibitions nationally and internationally, among them are “Registro 05” at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, “+52 Paisajes Recientes” at Fundación CALOSA in Guanajuato, “Proyectos Unidos Mexicanos” at the Wythe Hotel in New York, U.S.A., among others. Her work was selected in the Soporte / Papel 2015 Bernardo Elosúa Farías Prize. She has been recognized with various honors, among which stand out the Jóvenes Creadores Grant 2020-2021 and 2015-2016 from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts, the first prize of the 5th Photography Contest (2013) of the Universidad de Monterrey library and an honorable mention in the Sin Categoría (2012) exhibition by the Casa de la Cultura de San Pedro. She is currently represented by the Machete gallery in Mexico City and by the Nosco gallery in Marseille, France.
